If you’ve read my bio, over on the right there, you will see I’m a fan of chocolate. I’m also a lover of cakes, biscuits and pretty much anything else that’s sweet and bad for me! Unfortunately, my kids have clearly inherited my sweet tooth gene and to my shame, I let them eat a lot more than they probably should (bad mum alert!).
And now Halloween is upon us, followed in a few weeks by Christmas, so we pretty much spend the last couple of months of the year surrounded by sweets and chocolates!
Neither of my kids are huge fans of brushing their teeth, and need constant reminders (Big) and a lot of help (Small). Big has a very cool Star Wars toothbrush that lights up and plays sounds so he knows how long to brush for, but I still struggle to get Small interested (a lot of it is a sensory issue with her, though).
Then, I was mooching around online pharmacy Chemist.co.uk and I spotted a fab light-up Paw Patrol toothbrush! Small is obsessed with Paw Patrol (are there any small children who aren’t?) so this will, hopefully, be the perfect thing to encourage her to brush and make it fun instead of a chore. I also ordered some new toothpaste for her to try. I’m hoping that now I can let her eat chocolate with less guilt over what it’s doing to her teeth!
I’d never checked out this website before, but they have a great range of products, from both well-known brands and also lesser-known names. The prices are great and the delivery of my order was around 4 days (including a weekend).
Using an online pharmacy is particularly useful, especially if you’re already a bit under the weather and don’t want to venture too far; the remedies can come to you instead!
As it’s now ‘lurgy season’, and the kids are coming home from school with germs to share, I think it might be a good idea to go back and order some supplies to see us through! There’s a great section for baby and child health care to choose from, so I’m going to pop some Calpol, antiseptic, cough medicine and things to help colds into my basket and get it all sent to me, all from the warm comfort of my new cosy corner!
We’re ready winter! Come and get us!
