Week: 10 (was on holiday for week 9)
Total to date: 16.5lbs
I had all good intentions of trying to stay on plan as much as possible last week. We were away on holiday, but camping, so we intended to cook good meals each evening like we did last year. Only, it didn’t quite work out like that. So how the heck I’ve managed to lose 1.5lbs, I really don’t know! I was all prepared for a 2lb gain at least!
We had some wind issues (!) as well as plenty of rain, making cooking something of a chore, especially as the camping stoves kept on blowing out. So, I ended up eating all manner of rubbish, much to my disgust. A greasy full English on the way there, crisps, biscuits, chocolate, fried bacon butties… And you can’t go to the coast without having fish and chips!
It wasn’t all bad; we had chicken, with new potatoes and salad (although I did have some of Tesco’s Finest Rainbow Coleslaw) and we had a delicious chilli on the first evening (see, I told you I had good intentions!). But, I have to say, I really, really enjoyed my Cornish steak pasty from the butcher’s in St. Just (seriously, best. Pasty. Ever!) and I also enjoyed the burger on barbecue night too.
So, after a week of indulgence, it’s time to get back on plan and I’m aiming to get my shiny 1 stone sticker next week (which would be at least 1 stone and 4lbs in total).
I’m off to fill in my meal planner for the week. If you’d like a free printable copy, fill in your details here and I’ll send it over![rad_rapidology_locked optin_id=optin_3][/rad_rapidology_locked]
